Faith’s Heavenly Sunrise

Posted on December 31, 2023 by bigskybuckeye

From Genesis 1:3: “Then God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”

Horizon always glows

Light penetrates dark skies

Spirit opens hope’s rose

Raising faith to baptize

Daylight shall never bend

Angelic voices praise

Saints welcome every friend

Sharing faith, peace ablaze

Blessed day never ends

Creator’s light feeds all

Love shall always transcend

Taking faith’s righteous call

Every day always bright

Fields golden and ready

Sunlight’s descending flight

Feeding faith, rock-steady

Mercy flowing downstream

Faith’s heavenly sunrise

Eternity’s light beams

Witnessing Savior’s eyes

From Revelation 22:5: “And there will be no more night; they need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.”

Each morning sunrise

Father’s gift to thee

Heaven’s brilliant skies

Mercy offers free

Coffee friends meeting

Father gathers all

Grace pours out greetings

Kindness fills each y’all

Kitchen’s window view

Father sharing peace

Each tender fescue

Life’s renewing lease

From each faithful seed

Father’s blessed prize

Harvest’s bounty feeds

Thoughts forever wise

Day’s fading sunset

Father always here

Night’s trusted cornet

Rhythm always clear

From Psalm 42:8: “By day the Lord commands His steadfast love, and at night His song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.”

Early morning hour

Glimmer of pre-dawn’s sunrise—

Blissful moments breathe

Playful Rain

Illuminating

Nourishing landscape

Radiating at sunrise—

Creator’s spirit

Gathering

Enduring sunrise

Wakening morning’s treasures—

New day beginning

Summoning

In early dawn’s light

Nighttime passes her baton—

Horizon’s sunrise

Whispering

Morning’s dawn arrives

Hilltop meadow’s peacefulness—

Ancient voices speak

Greeting

Enchanting flowers

Saying “hello” each sunrise—

Precious day’s escape

Comforting

Stunning scenic view

Quilt of so many colors—

Daylight’s mountaintop

Nature’s Grace

Cloudless, morning sky lifting up her shade

Brilliant, yet subtle light cascading down

Generations of peace-filled accolades

Navigating each successful splashdown

Gentle breeze descends with expectant glance

Endlessly sharing her breath every hour

Invitations accepted for each dance

Feeling softness caressing each flower

Moisture gathers along distant skyline

Whisper of rain’s scent filling every space

Better than sweetest aroma of wine

Offering something precious to embrace

Lowering her shade at sunset each night

Dreaming of sunrise’s wakening light
