Stillness of morning’s breath
Tranquility fills heart
Horizon’s brightening light
Opening with day’s fresh start
Majestic giants stir
Delicate, swaying leaves
Darkness now evaporates
Wearing new day on its sleeve
Harmony’s early tune
Silent, yet always heard
Freedom composed, set to sing
Listening to treebound birds
Creator sketches scene
Every detail pronounced
Day renewed in nature’s midst
Colored with life, as announced
Gentle morning clouds
Gather above lofty peaks
Valley awakens
From nightly mystique
Misty rain drops in
Moisture covers quiet fields
Valley’s sunrise climbs
Rainbow’s blessed shield
Lake’s tranquil waters
Every fisherman’s delight
Valley smiling back
Trout ready to bite
River’s pace slows down
Dam hidden at canyon’s gate
Valley sings with joy
Faith’s daily soul mate
Creator shares peace
Small town’s unflappable pace
Valley’s spirit leads
Witness morning’s grace
Early morning’s peace
Minutes before rising sun—
Creator’s presence
Untamed with motion
River’s eternal waters—
Creator’s rhythm
Forest’s hidden depths
Tranquility’s lush meadow—
Creator’s spirit
Sunset’s closing breath
Daytime’s curtain descends
Witness tranquility
Where peace shall never end
Sunset’s horizon
Evening darkness transcends
Witness each gentle breeze
Where beams of moonlight bend
Sunset forgotten
Night sky never pretends
Witness galaxy’s flight
Where creation intends
Sunset holds spirit
Until new day begins
Witness pre-dawn’s glimmer
Where morning will call in
Sunrise renews light
Daytime’s curtain ascends
Witness glorious grace
Where each breath welcomes friends
River’s dynamics
Blessing waters’ source
Mountain’s melting snow
Staying true to its course
River’s known outcome
Flowing every day
Never in hurry
Charting eternal way
River’s attitude
Praising every land
Nature in balance
Holding Creator’s hand
River’s calming thoughts
Singing to mankind
Tranquility’s voice
Leading as He designed
River’s steady course
Observing mankind
Hurried, with missteps
Falling further behind
Life hurries past us . . . too strong to stop, too sweet to lose.
There are some things you learn best in calm, and some in storm.
Willa Cather (1873-1947) was a writer known for her stories of living on the Great Plains.
Morning’s gentle voice
Invitation welcomes all
New day rising
Creator’s spirit comes to call
Next steps contemplate
Opportunity at hand
Always present
Creator’s breath covers this land
Mind absent of thoughts
Tranquility extends grace
Empty page waits
Creator’s own words embrace
Time seems to stand still
Sky’s expanse frozen in blue
Quiet breeze stirs
Creator’s peace channels breakthrough
Darkness encroaches
Patient light chases away
Innocence dreams
Creator’s perpetual way
Hidden in forest’s depths
Creator’s kingdom reigns
Moving with quiet breath
Feeding nature’s unbroken chain
Spontaneous landscape
Creator’s rhythm sings
Breathing beauty’s freshness
Witnessing all that summer brings
Trees towering above
Creator fills each scene
Overflowing with peace
Reaching to heavens, grass so green
Tranquil waters roam free
Creator’s grace gives back
Nourishing youngest plants
Equipping wilderness backpack
Busy traffic drives by
Immune to forest’s sigh
Missing treasures within
Creator frames sunset’s goodbye
Along every coastline
Lonely beaches listen
Whispering spirit
Morning sunrise glistens
Along mountain ridgetop
Confidence thundering
Whispering echoes
Distant breath wondering
Along valley’s river
Creator’s pulse renews
Whispering promise
Tranquility flows through
Along horizon’s light
Reassurance remains
Whispering pauses
Sun’s setting windowpane
Along meadow’s stillness
Harmony’s joy conceived
Whispering spirit
Nature’s rhythm achieved
Thunderstorm cuts in
Night plunges into drama—
Rescued at sunrise
Dancing all alone
Searching for tranquil partner—
Sunset’s peace steps in
Scaling mountaintop
Unveiling fresh perspective—
Creator reveals
