When a mind is in love with Jesus, this is what it sees:  a world full of the wonders He has made.

From Hebrews 13:8:  “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Phillip Graham Ryken (born 1966) is an American pastor and theologian.  He currently serves as the president of Wheaton College in Illinois.

Monday Memories: Forevermore

Standing and lifting eyes upward

Asking for help

But, from where will it come?

Reading from a cherished Bible

Finding the words

Of a patient and gracious Lord

Humbling images of God’s plan

Creating the heavens

As well as the earth

Feeling the grace of God

Providing shade

At one’s right hand

Sleeping is never His wish

Watching over

His people at every moment

Praying to a compassionate Lord

Listening now

His words bring comfort

Protecting us at all times

Witnessing Him

Forevermore

From Isaiah 66:12-13:  “For thus says the Lord:  I will extend prosperity to her like a river and the wealth of the nations like an overflowing stream, and you shall nurse and be carried on her arm and bounced on her knees.  As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”
