Roy Lessin Quote

Just think, you’re not here by chance, but by God’s choosing you.  His hand formed you, He made you the person you are.

From Psalm 139:13-14:  “For it was you who formed my inward parts; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.  I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.  Wonderful are your works; that I know very well.”

Roy Lessin has dedicated his life to Christian ministry.  During his 50 plus years, he has been studying the Bible, sharing its teachings with others, and authoring numerous Christian books.  He is also one of the co-founders of DaySpring Greeting Cards.

Marking path ahead

Embracing His Word

Faithful, daily bread

Righteousness leading

Grasping trusted rope

Fixing eyes on God

Faith seals promised hope

God remains steadfast

Sharing divine love

Treasuring His flock

Grace flows from above

Running to God’s light

Forgiving man’s sin

Cleansed heart taking flight

From Psalm 119:14-16:  “I delight in the way of Your decrees as much as in all riches.  I will meditate on Your precepts and fix my eyes on Your ways.  I will delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.”

Charles Stanley Quote

Christians should reflect Jesus to the world so that all can share in the joy of salvation.

From Galatians 2:19-20:  “For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God.  I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

Charles Stanley (1932-2023) was an American pastor and Christian writer.  He was dedicated to leading a teaching ministry.

Calvary would remain forever in darkness, if not for our Father’s grace in sharing the ultimate love of His Son.

Filled with Grace

From Psalm 119:105:  “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”

Photo by John-Mark Smith on Pexels.com

Early morning surroundings

Freshly brewed coffee now poured

Moments of light compounding

Conversation with faith’s Lord

Bible’s pages reopened

Study begins with God’s Word

Grace knocking, heart now opened

More than coffee being stirred

Gentle spirit settles in

Wisdom seeks receptive ear

Father finds trusted plug-in

Lessons become crystal clear

Coffee cup now filled with grace

Sunrise seals Savior’s snapshot

Rising in this humble place

Redemption forever bought

From Ephesians 1:7:  “In him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.”
