I’m fulfilled in what I do.  I never thought that a lot of money or fine clothes–the finer things of life–would make you happy.  My concept of happiness is to be filled in a spiritual sense.

From Psalm 66:10-12:  “For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried.  You brought us into the net; you laid burdens on our backs; you let people ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet you have brought us out to a spacious place.”

This informative post will be posted on Saturday along with my usual writing.  We can all appreciate some of the lesser known facts from around the world.

The speed of a typical golfer’s swing is 101 miles per hour.

In one early published version of “Cinderella,” the wicked stepsister cuts off her own big toe ion order to fit into the glass slipper.

These facts have been discovered in I NEVER KNEW THAT by David Hoffman (2009).

Integrity makes my job easier.  It’s deception and dishonesty that requires so much diligent effort.

American football coach Bobby Bowden (1929-2021) coached the Florida State Seminoles from 1976 to 2009.  He is considered to be one of college football’s greatest coaches.  Being a Christian, Bowden credited his success in coaching to his faith.
