Life’s Open Book

Photo by Turgay Koca on Pexels.com

Fragile, yet unbroken

Remaining soft-spoken

Perplexed, yet answers found

Feeling free, homeward bound

Deadlocked, yet finding key

Moving on, let it be

Homeless, yet seeing light

Making nightly campsite

Troubled, yet finding peace

Forging life’s brand new lease

Hidden, yet discovered

Finding future covered

Misplaced, yet always found

Sleeping on softest ground

Wounded, yet walking free

Earning final degree

Useless, yet finding worth

Flying high above earth

Hungry, yet always fed

Tasting life’s daily bread

Shortchanged, yet now fulfilled

Making steps, always thrilled

Forgotten, yet now loved

Sharing days with beloved

Euripides Quotes

Real friendship is shown in times of trouble; prosperity is full of friends.

One loyal friend is worth ten thousand relatives.

Euripides was one the leading ancient tragedians from classical Greek culture in Athens.

The Holy Spirit brings us answers, sometimes in advance of any questions life brings.

Monday Memories: Big Sky Moments

Wedding 2018 February 002.JPG

Waking up on a cold, frigid, winter morn

Looking like one more day with a storm

Pulling the warm covers over my bare head

Let’s fast forward to a new season instead

Always dreaming big at night

Never alone, perfect delight

Fast forward to a hot summer day

Sensational, unblemished blue sky

Feeling an urge to jump up, shout and say

Have you ever seen a more beautiful sky?

Seeing a Big Montana Sky

Morning sun climbs high

Traveling to Montana brings pure pleasures

Experiencing a saddlebag full of treasures

Shining high above, a cloudless view

Bringing a smile to God, always true

Always dreaming big at night

Never alone, perfect delight

Western hospitality, the Big Sky way

Filled with warmest smiles, no haste

Be certain to come back as we always say

Montana’s Big Sky, the Last Best Place!

Using free-flowing grace, our Creator was filled with everlasting insight when He shaped the timing of nature’s seasons.

Danny Thomas Quotes

Photo by Lagos Food Bank Initiative on Pexels.com

Success has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself.  It’s what you do for others.

There are two types of people in this world, the Givers and the Takers.  The Takers sometimes eat better, but the Givers always sleep better.

Danny Thomas (1912-1991) was an American actor, comedian, singer, and philanthropist.

Abundant Life

From Isaiah 55:3:  “Incline your ear, and come to Me; listen, so that you may live.  I will make with you an everlasting covenant, My steadfast, sure love for David.”

Filled with thirst and hunger

Listen to God’s trusted Word

Promising to fulfill daily needs

Lifetime’s path no longer blurred

Raining from heavens

Spirit quenches every thirst

Living water flowing ever more

Sin’s darkest journey reversed

Sown with God’s mercy

Harvest of grace now ready

Bread of life feeds His new covenant

Life’s navigation steady

Praises poured with joy

Heavens bursting, full of song

Mountaintops joining valleys below

Abundant life comes along

From Isaiah 55:10:  “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there until they have watered the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater.”

We are created to live a life in harmony with God’s love.  This relationship will connect us with others in our daily walk with Christ.
