Divine Love

Father reigns from above

Revealing divine love

Heaven’s whispering dove

God’s love never changes

Spanning earth’s vast ranges

Blessed interchanges

Mankind living in sin

Loving Christ, life begins

Cross becomes faith’s linchpin

Lasting love, none greater

Needing no translator

Grace shines, from Creator

Love’s divine foundation

Nurturing salvation

Life’s eternal station

Eagle’s Shadow

Lost in hidden wilderness

Walking gloomy path, alone

Life’s never-ending circle

Frozen in time’s endless zone

Abandoned without refuge

Searching hellish, barren land

Emptiness speaks with silence

Tireless quest, sinking in sand

Days feel as chilling as nights

Shivering, icy outlook

Hopelessness without promise

Shadow circles, pause to look

Eagle flying overhead

Calling out to thee, follow

Sunrise filling empty heart

Journey no longer hollow

Calvary’s cross stands over

Kneeling upon sacred ground

Tears’ cascading emotions

Life no longer lost, grace found

Returning from Exile

Filling life with darkness

Wandering, defeated

Residing in exile

Forfeiting, depleted

Hearing distant trumpet

Sending invitations

Proclaiming Good News

Gathering each nation

Calling to faithfulness

Extending Holy hand

Leading us with promise

Witnessing God’s command

Sustaining light ahead

Proclaiming Father’s might

Returning from exile

Forsaking former plight

Accepting Lord’s mercy

Praising His love and grace

Walking in step with God

Tasting life’s Holy place

Testing Our Faith

Feeling faith shriveling up

Surrounded, total darkness

God calling, drink from My cup

Life’s trials testing our faith

Walking path filled with hardship

Shadowed by prowling darkness

God calling, He rights our ship

Life challenges fragile faith

Hungering for something more

Shrouded by empty darkness

God calling, enter My door

Life summons Abraham’s faith

Overcoming our miscues

Illuminated in light

God calling, walk in Christ’s shoes

Faith’s Dilemma

Even after salvation

Evil gathers temptation

Satan never giving up

His truth always false, made-up

Man continues to wrestle

Sin looks for place to nestle

Feelings of condemnation

Life bears guilty fixation

Inner conflict tears apart

Jesus speaks truth to each heart

Faith’s dilemma overcome

Favored, steady, beating drum

Savior’s blood wipes sin away

Blessed by love, trust never sways

God’s grace eternally flows

His constant love never slows

Father shall never reject

Those who faithfully connect

False promises never blind

Truth of Scripture filling minds

Divine Favor

Dead from our trespasses

Sin ruling over man

Living outside God’s law

Called to accept His plan

God opens grace-filled door

Cooling desires of flesh

Sharing His mercy’s love

Today begins afresh

Salvation accepted

Lord’s spring of grace will flow

Tasting divine favor

Mistakes washed white as snow

Life christened with God’s joy

Made alive in Jesus

Overcoming weakness

Lord’s divine grace frees us

Eternal age to come

Lord’s love shall see us through

Saving us from darkness

Grace through faith comes in view

From 2 Corinthians 12:9-10: “But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.’ So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Father’s handiwork molds

Thankfully in control

God bestows precious love

Sharing His deepest thoughts

Youthful outlook thriving

Grace unties worries’ knots

Righteousness flourishing

Reaping Creator’s love

Always our steady rock

God leads, Heaven above

Flowing from Father’s hand

Deliverance blesses

Saving from sinking sand

Comfort’s spring renewing

Proclaiming Father’s love

Selfless with compassion

Sending grace from above

Tragedy reaches out

Hearing each heartfelt cry

Spirit guiding prayer

Bringing forth hope from high

Actions follow His light

Sharing words of support

Father’s eternal spring

Returning ship to port

Oaks of righteousness call

Comforting life like rain

His mercy never ends

Trusting Father again

Infinite Love

Singing praises to Holy Lord

Looking up to heavens beyond

Rejoicing, filled with His glory

Trusting faith, believers respond

Building our daily faith and hope

Targeting His grace for our needs

Magnifying love with mercy

Looking upon each tender reed

Blessing earth’s next generation

Doing great things, God is His name

Showing almighty, loving strength

Lighting our way, eternal flame

Watching over His creation

Conceiving heavens high above

Reigning forever and ever

Downloading His infinite love

From Luke 1:46-48: “And Mary said, ‘My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,for He has looked with favor on the lowliness of His servant. Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed.'”
