For our own success to be real, it must contribute to the success of others.

Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962) was a former first lady of the United States during her husband’s tenure as President (1933-1945).  Her life was filled with many accomplishments and pursuits outside of her political involvement with her husband:  diplomat (United Nations) and activist (human rights).

Mason Cooley (1927-2002) was an American professor.  As an aphorist, he was known for his witty expressions, which articulated accepted truths about life.
