Redemption in Christ

From Deuteronomy 31:8:  “It is the Lord who goes before you.  He will be with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.  Do not fear or be dismayed.”

Always going before us

Seeing every tomorrow

Faith’s steadfast anchor

Courage, buoyed by Spirit’s shadow

Every moment in prayer

Feeling His daily kinship

Peace shared from Father

Grace sails, with encouragement’s ship

Journey’s turbulent moments

Shrinking in Calvary’s light

Christ wins each battle

Enemy’s darkness, taking flight

Imperfect oceans of faith

Sailing upon trusted rock

Redemption in Christ

Mercy’s strength, brings to Heaven’s dock

Faith’s journey embraces and follows the footprints of Jesus.  His righteousness focuses each step upon His waiting grace of redemption.

Charles L. Allen Quote

Remember that you are needed.  There is at least one important work to be done that will not be done unless you do it.

From Romans 8:28-30:  “We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.  For those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, in order that He might be the firstborn within a large family.  And those whom He predestined He also called, and those whom He called He also justified, and those whom He justified He also glorified.”

Charles L. Allen (1913-2005) was an American pastor and Christian author.

Our imagination opens up hidden rooms in our lives, taking us far beyond our own simple logic.

Herbert Hoover Quotes

Freedom is the open window through which pours the sunlight of the human spirit and human dignity.

National character cannot be built by law.  It is the sum of the moral fiber of its individuals.

Herbert Hoover (1874-1964) was the 31st American President.

Ralph Waldo Emerson Quote

It is one of the most beautiful compensations of life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself.

From Philippians 2:3-4:  “Do nothing from selfish ambition or empty conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves.  Let each of you look not to your own interests but to the interests of others.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882) was an American essayist, poet, and philosopher.  He was a leading voice in America’s transcendentalist movement in the 19th century.

Until New Day Begins

Photo by Travis Rupert on Pexels.com

Sunset’s closing breath

Daytime’s curtain descends

Witness tranquility

Where peace shall never end

Sunset’s horizon

Evening darkness transcends

Witness each gentle breeze

Where beams of moonlight bend

Sunset forgotten

Night sky never pretends

Witness galaxy’s flight

Where creation intends

Sunset holds spirit

Until new day begins

Witness pre-dawn’s glimmer

Where morning will call in

Sunrise renews light

Daytime’s curtain ascends

Witness glorious grace

Where each breath welcomes friends
