Those who realize their days belong to God are careful how they live.

From Ephesians 5:15-17:  “Be careful, then, how you live, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil.  So do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”

T. S. Eliot Quotes

Every moment is a fresh beginning.

Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.

T. S. (Thomas Stearns) Eliot (1888-1965) was an acclaimed poet whose published works reinvigorated English poetry.  Born in the United States, he later moved to England in his 20s.  There he remained throughout the rest of his life.

Every Season

From 2 Timothy 4:1-2:  “In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom, I solemnly urge you:  proclaim the message; be persistent whether the time is favorable or unfavorable; convince, rebuke, and encourage with the utmost patience in teaching.”

Always be prepared

Proclaiming God’s Word

Staying persistent

Every season stirred

Always be patient

Encouraging words

Sharing Father’s grace

Every season heard

Always be faithful

Remaining steadfast

Enduring hardships

Every season cast

Always be truthful

Teaching Gospel’s facts

Turning toward God

Every season acts

Always be strengthened

Believing in God

Kneeling and praying

Every season lauds

From 2 Timothy 4:5:  “As for you, be sober in everything, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, carry out your ministry fully.”

When we focus daily on God’s Word, our faith is bolstered in order to shield us from the enemy’s arrows of doubt.

Charlotte Bronte Quote

Photo by Brett Sayles on Pexels.com

We know that God is everywhere; but certainly we feel His presence most when His works are in the grandest scale spread before us.

From Psalm 111:2-3:  “Great are the works of the Lord, studied by all who delight in them.  Full of honor and majesty is His work, and His righteousness endures forever.”

Charlotte Bronte (1816-1855) was an English novelist and poet.  Many of her writings are considered classics in English literature.
