There is one Advocate we all need–one who represents sinners like us in the highest of all places–the presence of God: “Jesus Christ, the righteous.” What a great promise!
From 1 John 2:1-2: “My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.”
Be patient. God is using today’s difficulties to strengthen you for tomorrow. He is equipping you. The God who makes things grow will help you bear fruit.
From 2 Peter 1:5-7: “For this very reason, you must make every effort to support your faith with goodness, and goodness with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with endurance, and endurance with godliness, and godliness with mutual affection, and mutual affection with love.”
Jesus did what we could not–He set us free from our sins. Consider the immensity of the sacrifice He made on your behalf.
From Hebrews 10:10: “And it is by God’s will that we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”
Many things I have tried to grasp and have lost. That which I have placed in God’s hands I still have.
From Job 1:20-22: “Then Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head, and fell on the ground and worshiped. He said, ‘Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there; the Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.’ In all this Job did not sin or charge God with wrongdoing.”
Great marriages don’t happen by luck or by accident. They are the result of a consistent investment of time, thoughtfulness, forgiveness, affection, prayer, mutual respect, and a rock-solid commitment between a husband and a wife.
To find someone who will love you for no reason, and to shower that person with reasons, that is the ultimate happiness.
From Micah 6:8: “He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Filled with mercy and love
God’s Word becoming flesh
Grace and truth, Christ proclaims
Spirit comes to refresh
God’s message resonates
Resist dark temptations
Gives grace to the humble
Receive His salvation
Believing in Jesus
Saved by “Amazing Grace”
Love transcends from above
Light shines upon each face
Doesn’t look for our faults
Our Lord never keeps score
His grace given freely
Loving us, evermore
Transformation through faith
Raising life from the dead
Unfathomable love
By grace, and blood Christ shed
From the words of American pastor and Christian author, Charles Swindoll: “Grace operates apart from the response or the ability of the individual. Grace is one-sided. Grace is God giving Himself in full acceptance to someone who does not deserve it and can never earn it and will never be able to repay.”
He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot love.

Rod and staff always comfort
