Mystery ahead
Shadows can’t hide
Each spirit drinks deeply
Endless dreams collide
Pathway of echoes
These woods speak out
Tomorrow surrenders
Darkened voices sprout
Moonlight’s reflections
Mirrors of light
Backwoods’ invitation
Shared from nature’s birthright
Night’s melody plays
Whispers gift-wrapped
Each note of harmony
Composed to adapt
Mystery now found
Morn’s grateful dawn
Spirits return to sleep
Dreams wait to be drawn

Beautiful poem

What luscious (and mysterious) imagery. It makes me eager to return to the woods when I can; just now, work is taking precedence, even on the weekends, and all I can do is dream of spaces like those described in your poem!

The pairing of words and images is a delightful mix. Your words are, as always, insightful and inspirational. The mystery drips especially from the first image, beckoning us into this world.

I enjoy these depths capturing a misty light and the reverse, as per your excellent quote.
