Gray landscape waiting
Winter tugging life’s reins
Nature’s heart pulsating
Searching barren plains
Quiet, chilly morn
Spring waiting for its turn
Nature’s melody plays
Growing season yearns
Sun’s beam warming ground
Breath of life springing up
Nature’s waiting comes round
Bursting green’s push-ups
Baton passed along
Winter fading away
Nature’s returning song
Waiting with bouquet

Just lovely. Your lines really capture what I sometimes think of as ‘the waiting season.’

Amen! I feel blessed to live where one can experience the uniqueness of our Creator’s four seasons.

A great way to express the coming of spring…the baton is passed. I would like to ask the atheists how they explain the seasons. God established them from the beginning and they come on time every year.

Amen. From season to season, our Creator’s timing is always right.
