God is in full control. Nothing is happening on earth that brings a surprise to Heaven. Nothing is outside the scope of His divine radar screen as He guides us safely home.
From 1 Timothy 1:17: “To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.”
Following Jesus
Running with perseverance—
Sin no longer clings
Sharing words of hope
Joining others in Jesus—
God’s endless blessings
Sow bountifully
God loves a cheerful giver—
Reap bountifully
God does not give His counsel to the curious or the careless; He reveals His will to the concerned and to the consecrated.
From James 1:5: “If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God, who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and it will be given you.”
Your mind is the greatest gift God has given you, and it ought to be devoted entirely to Him.
From 2 Timothy 1:7: “For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.
From Romans 6:1-2: “What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it?”
All have been baptized into Christ
God’s offer of Grace shall abound
Christ suffering death on the Cross
Accepting His way, God’s Word found
Living with God through our Savior
United with Jesus by His death
Walking in goodness of new life
Accepting His way, lasting breath
Escaping life of sin and death
Obedient to God’s commands
Following our righteous Father
Accepting His way, where we stand
Knowing God through His Holy Word
Rescued, no longer slaves to sin
Total devotion to Jesus
Accepting His way, love within
From Romans 6:12-14: “Therefore, do not let sin exercise dominion in your mortal bodies, to make you obey their passions. No longer present your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and present your members to God as instruments of righteousness. For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.”
The Bible tells us that whenever we come before God, whatever our purpose or prayer request, we are always to come with a thankful heart.
From Proverbs 15:29: “The Lord is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous.”
I believe the Bible is the best gift God has ever given to man.
From Matthew 4:4: “But He answered, ‘It is written, One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
The joy of God is experienced as I love, trust, and obey God–no matter the circumstances.
From John 15:11: “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles, and let all the peoples praise him.”
From Psalm 86:12: “I give thanks to you, O Lord my God, with my whole heart, and I will glorify your name forever.”
Singing blessings to the Lord
Sovereign God from heaven
Filled with all praise and glory
Grace-filled salvation beckons
True author of Creation
God of love with healing touch
Destined for praise and glory
Always faithful in the clutch
From morning into the night
His mercy and compassion
Eternal praise and glory
Guiding, leading with passion
Always hearing our voices
Observing our helplessness
Love-inspired praise and glory
His goodness and righteousness
Confessing to our Father
Proclaiming His perfect power
Sharing His praise and glory
His faithful love never sours
Seeking God in our distress
Cast each idol in the fire
Grace-filling praise and glory
Holy Spirit never tires
From Galatians 5:22-24: “By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”
You can drift into sin, but not into righteousness.
From Romans 5:18: “Therefore just as one man’s trespass led to condemnation for all, so one man’s act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all.”
