We aren’t just thrown on this earth like dice tossed across a table. We are lovingly placed here for a purpose.
From Ecclesiastes 3:1: “For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven.”

We aren’t just thrown on this earth like dice tossed across a table. We are lovingly placed here for a purpose.
From Ecclesiastes 3:1: “For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven.”

God has a course mapped out for your life, and all the inadequacies in the world will not change His mind. He will be with you every step of the way. And though it may take time, He has a celebration planned for when you cross over the “Red Seas” of your life.
From Philippians 4:4-7: “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Rather than live with reluctance, let’s live with exuberance. Instead of fearing what’s ahead, let’s face it head-on with enthusiasm. And because life is so terribly short, let’s do everything we can to make it sweet.
From James 4:14-15: “Yet you do not even know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, ‘If the Lord wishes, we will live and do this or that.'”

God misses nothing. He’s looking out for us. He’s listening to our prayers.
From 1 Peter 3:12: “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer.”

Jesus of Nazareth had a magnificent obsession: the cross. His death on the cross was no afterthought on God’s part but rather, the fulfillment of the Father’s predetermined plan for His Son.
From Luke 24:46-47: “He said to them, ‘Thus it is written, that the Messiah is to suffer and to rise from the dead on the third day and that repentance and forgiveness of sins is to be proclaimed in His name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.'”

Why does God lead us through desert places? That He might humble us, that He might test us, and that the true condition of our hearts might be revealed. There’s nothing like the desert to help you discover the real you.
From Ephesians 4:21-24: “For surely you have heard about Him and were taught in Him, as truth is in Jesus, to put away your former way of life, your old self, corrupt and deluded by its lusts, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to clothe yourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”

It defies the human mind to find the depths of the mind of God. We can plumb the depths of another’s mind. But we cannot begin to scratch the surface of the unsearchable judgments of God.
From Romans 11:33-34: “O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable His ways!”

We could call any work done in the will of God “the work of righteousness.” And in doing that work, you will be surrounded by peace.
From Isaiah 32:17: “The effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.”

God doesn’t tell time as we do. He does remarkable things, regardless of our time of day. He will leave our particular Red Sea absolutely closed, without an opening, without a sign, until He has finished teaching us the lessons we need to learn.
From 1 Chronicles 16:27: “Honor and majesty are before Him; strength and joy are in His place.”

In a world consumed with thoughts of itself, filled with people impressed with each other, having disconnected with the only One worthy of praise, it’s time we return to Theology 101 and sit silently in His presence.
From Psalm 115:3: “Our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases.”
