Another heart warmed

Freshly baked cookies
Smelling every sweet morsel—
Cannot eat just one
Morning Dilemma
Coffee cup’s corner
Another fresh brew to taste—
Now, which one to choose?

Yes! Sip sip hooray! Much peace to you, my friend. I’ll be absent for a while. I’m heading soon back to Bethesda, Maryland to the National Cancer Institute. I’ll have 4 scans, tons of bloodwork, visits with drs…It will be a long 4 days. But for GOD!
Palliative Care team has stepped in to help me feel empowered and encouraged. I have a nurse who checks on me. Although they are fine with me substituting part days, they are cautiously “watching” me as my liver enzymes keep creeping up and I’ve had some pain. We have a plan!
Today I’ll go and teach…PE! Oh my! I can’t help it. I hope to just spread love and joy. Then I can rest when I need.
