Through Tiny Eyes
Toddler growing up
Every day filling with joy—
Unlocking each “first”

Helping Out
Little assistant
Shopping cart’s navigator—
Trying to keep up

Smallest Gifts
Time’s precious moments
Parenthood’s daily treasures—
Fill another heart

Nice. I like it.

I love the toddler poem. It so reminds me of all of my time with little Nathan and the wonder in his little eyes as he saw or realized something for the first time. There’s a reason God says to come to Him as a little child. We should always approach God with awe and wonder as if it’s our first time to really see Him.

Amen! It is a God-inspired blessing that we adults can experience such moments. I treasure these interactive times with my three daughters as well as several grandchildren.

Toddlers present exhausting challenge for their caregivers, but then there are the sublime moments you so artfully describe here,. I too love the wonder they bring to each new discovery, each new experience!

Any mistreated child is always a tragedy.
