Early morning rain drops in
Landscape thirsts for blessed drink
Graceful flowers dance and spin
Timeless pause while nature thinks
Tender leaf enjoys her bath
Gentle droplets trickle down
Soft grass carpets nature’s path
Destiny wearing her crown
Silence breaks from quiet mist
Terrain transforms with delight
Nature feels like being kissed
Peace fills every pore with light
Sky gracefully opens up
Rays of sunshine descending
Creator fills every cup
Nature never pretending

God’s creation is such a blessing to everyone. If only there was enough time to enjoy all of it.

The landscape thirsts for a drink of water. We thirst for the Word of God.

Jim, thanks for reading and sharing. Wish Ohio could share its abundance of rain with the drier areas of the country.

it would be nice if our natural resources were more evenly divided!

Eileen, I appreciate you sharing this poem. I enjoy devoting some of my writing to nature, which shared as glory to the Lord.
