From 1 Timothy 2:3-4: “This is right and acceptable before God our Savior, who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

Believing in Savior Jesus
Eternity waiting for thee
Conquering sinful world with love
Faith opening with Father’s key
Confessing to Father and Son
Both desiring our salvation
Giving up worldly, sinful ways
Life walking to new narration
Guaranteeing future with Him
Faith surrounding unselfish love
Being saved and knowing it’s true
Redemption breathing from above
Blessings of assurance, faith’s rock
Christ saving sinners with shed blood
Walking in His mercy and trust
Love nurturing each flower’s bud

From Romans 10:9-10: “Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For one believes with the heart, leading to righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, leading to salvation.”
Beautiful words of truth!

Kathy, I appreciate your kind words. Much of my writing gravitates toward Christian themes, but I still enjoy keeping involved with general poetry and short stories.
