Halting Steps
Worries and fears grow
Never-ending appetite—
Consuming spirit

Courageous Steps
In darkest of times
Winning race with final push—
Running with boldness

Harmony’s Steps
Day’s delightful pause
Joyous memories drop in—
Dancing in one’s heart

I especially love “Harmony’s Steps”…though I generally like everything you write 🙂

Thanks Zelda. When we can step forward from darkness, our future steps reflect something like this final poem.

Susan, thank you for sharing. My intent was to make the final poem stand out. I am traveling to help out my mother. Look for a post with more details on Friday.
