Light reveals righteousness, and it also reveals sin.
From Romans 1:16-17: “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel; it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, ‘The one who is righteous will live by faith.'”

God is our refuge, and what comfort that brings. When you read the next headline, and it tells of some event that you and I would call tragic, He is a very present help.
From Psalm 46:1: “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: “What, you too? I thought I was the only one.”
From Proverbs 18:24: “Some friends play at friendship but a true friend sticks closer than one’s nearest kin.”

Ask the God who made you to keep remaking you.

When we are born again we all have visions, if we are spiritual at all, of what Jesus wants us to be, and the great thing is to learn not to be disobedient to the vision, not to say that it cannot be attained.
From Acts 26:16: [Jesus is speaking to Saul on the Damascus road] “But get up and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you to serve and testify to the things in which you have seen and to those in which I will appear to you.”

Life is too short to nurse one’s misery. Hurry across the lowlands so that you may spend more time on the mountaintop.

I suggest you discipline yourself to spend time daily in a systematic reading of God’s Word. Make this “quiet time” a priority that nobody can change.
