Acceptance is taking from God’s hand absolutely anything He gives, looking into His face in trust and thanksgiving, knowing that the confinement of the situation we’re in is good and for His glory.
From Isaiah 43:18-19: “Do not remember the former things, or consider the things of old. I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
…and the situation we are in is for good and for HIS Glory! I love that! That scripture always gives us hope!

This is so true. We only want the good and easy gifts from God. We tend to forget that some of those gifts can only come by pruning…and I’m sure it is very painful to experience the pruning.

I agree Leola. We sometimes don’t want to think about God pruning any of our branches. Thank goodness He never stops pruning.
