Anger may be justified, but “getting even” won’t make you feel better.

From Ephesians 4:26-27:  “Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not make room for the devil.”

Desmond Tutu (1931-2021) was a South African Anglican bishop and Christian theologian.  He was perhaps best known for his efforts as a human rights activist in dismantling his nation’s system of apartheid.

Keep cool; anger is not an argument.

From Proverbs 22:24-25:  “Make no friends with those given to anger, and do not associate with hotheads, or you may learn their ways and entangle yourself in a snare.”

Daniel Webster (1782-1852) was one of America’s greatest orators and statesmen.  He served in the United States Congress for 18 years as well being Secretary of State under three different Presidents.
