Keep cool; anger is not an argument.
From Proverbs 22:24-25: “Make no friends with those given to anger, and do not associate with hotheads, or you may learn their ways and entangle yourself in a snare.”
Daniel Webster (1782-1852) was one of America’s greatest orators and statesmen. He served in the United States Congress for 18 years as well being Secretary of State under three different Presidents.
Such a poignant verse and reminder. Anger seems so rampant these days.

Karla, your comments about anger and the current world situation are well-founded. May our prayers look to God for His answers.

Anger is a fearsome trait. I was raised by an angry mother and married a man with a quick temper…very scary.

So true. We pick up what is modelled to us. Better to hang out around people who reveal Christ in their daily lives , and who bear the fruit of the Spirit.

I totally agree with your viewpoint. Our environment does much to shape our future growth in emotional and spiritual ways. With Christ in our lives, we have the very best example to follow.
