Hurry Back
Every . . . falling leaf
Reminder . . . winter’s coming—
Dreaming . . . spring’s rebirth

Holding Back
Winter’s silence speaks
Quiet trees withhold their joy—
Waiting for spring’s call

Returning Back
Tender seedling sprouts
Nature transitions again—
Life reawakens

Thank you for the Spring retrospective. It is good to remember that Winter does not last forever.❄️

The seasons come and go, but God stays the same forever. I like the four seasons and their reminder of God’s faithfulness no matter what the weather may bring.

Vickie, your thoughts focus on what we should all follow through with . . . faithfulness in God. As each season transitions to another, He remains our steady Rock. I have always lived in a climate with four seasons, and I continue to enjoy it.

Thanks Susan for sharing. As winter’s “real” breath bears down upon the Buckeye state, I will hold onto the promise of a forthcoming spring in a few months.

I agree Anneli. Many times we need the hope of another spring to help us journey through a hard winter.

I know I do. I watch for signs of spring every year. It’s the gardener in me (not that I’m a good one, but I like to see things grow).

After the recent winter storms in much of the country, there will be an endless line of people thinking the same thought.
