Renewing dry, parched landscape
Resurrecting nature’s shape
Refreshing rain offers grace
Restoring peace to this place
Restarting with single drop
Reopening life’s closed shop
Reaffirming rain calling
Rallying lifeline falling
Recommitting faithful hand
Reassuring thirsty land
Reviving lost paradise
Rebounding rain’s special spice
Relieving vast acres’ stress
Rejuvenating success
Renovating rain’s duty
Recapturing land’s beauty
Rekindling valley’s lost spark
Reflecting light over dark
Repairing nature’s lost soul
Remaking her glory whole

This nature-rich poem is crafted with a different style. Beginning each verse with an “R” word as inspired by “refreshing rain,” offers a challenge for my poetic pen.
I love it! Dreams of nature restored. We can hope in this.🌳

This is so appropriate for today. We’re experiencing nice steady rainfall today, which was desperately needed. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Kathy, thanks for sharing the doxology. I don’t often hear it or use it, but it makes me stop and give thanks at this moment. Blessings to you and Paul this week.

I’m guessing you had your dictionary open to the letter R for this wonderfully creative poem! 🙂

Actually, I use an online thesaurus when I need some help. A poem such as this can’t be produced on a whim, but I enjoy when I can do with other content.

It seemed like to would have taken a bit of work to write such a poem…
