Hijacking right with wrong
Dark tides of temptation
Gathering amongst stormy seas
Crippling truth in any nation

Flipping integrity
Slippery path ahead
Bending every voice without truth
Transforming character’s beachhead

Hearing thoughts of reason
From truth’s “real” foundation
Standing upon solid granite
Lighting tomorrow’s narration

Lifting hope with each step
Opportunity’s flight
Navigating with renewed peace
Reversing darkness with foresight

From the words of American attorney and later evangelical leader, Charles Colson: “The greatest friend of truth is time; her greatest enemy is prejudice, and her constant companion humility.”
