From Philippians 4:19: “And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
Like Job, we don’t know all that the Lord is doing in heaven, but He is always working on our behalf. Be encouraged by these truths today, and keep persevering in prayer.
From Job 23:11-12: “My feet have closely followed His steps; I have kept to His way without turning aside. I have not departed from the commands of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my daily bread.”

Born spiritually dead

Do we deserve God’s goodness?

From Ephesians 2:4-6: “But God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which He loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ–by grace you have been saved–and raised us up with Him and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
What’s true of creatures in the forest is true of Christians in the family. God has not made us all the same. He never intended to.
From 1 Corinthians 12:27: “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
The bedrock of our Christian faith is the unmerited, fathomless marvel of the love of God exhibited on the Cross at Calvary, a love we never can and never shall merit.
From Romans 8:37-38: “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
The greatest and sublimest power is often simple patience.
