Christ is like a river that is continually flowing. There are always fresh supplies of water coming from the fountain-head, so that a man may live by it and be supplied with water all his life.
From Romans 8:38-39: “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Spiritual homelessness
Forcing hope’s darkest setbacks
With every passing day
Time stops, frozen in its tracks
How long will God stand silent?
Fading lives, like autumn’s leaf
Among earth’s darkest shadows
Hope’s flames, drowned by a sly thief
Expectations growing dim
Praying, Savior’s light to come
God’s love, molds life’s foundations

Coming Spiritual light
Transforming power from God

From Psalm 80:1-3: “Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock! You who are enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh. Stir up your might, and come to save us! Restore us, O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved.”
The Christian season of Advent begins with this final Sunday of November. For myself, this will bring a time of meditation and prayer . . . filled with the hope, peace, joy, and love of Christ, the Messiah.
The Christian’s greatest goal is to be like Christ.
From 2 Corinthians 8:21: “For we intend to do what is right not only in the Lord’s sight but also in the sight of others.”
Seeds sown and watered
Only God provides the growth—
Living with purpose
Through grace and mercy
God offers us Salvation—
Won by our Savior
Trusting Holy Truth
Discovering our new self—
Our true home in Christ
Sing
With praise
On the mountaintop
Christ yesterday, today, tomorrow
Forever

When we are suffering, only Christ’s perspective can replace our resentment with rejoicing. Our whole perspective changes when we catch a glimpse of the purpose of Christ in it all.
From Matthew 11:28-30: “Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Holy Spirit tracks every life
Jesus leaves us with eternal peace
Unlike anything else done by man
Praying to our Lord, life’s centerpiece
Peace emerges with fullness and joy
Holy blessing from Christ, filled with love
Feeling gladness and newness in life
God’s gift of Grace offered from above
Rejoicing in our Holy Father

Anticipating in faithful silence for the One
From Christ, comes our Salvation He won
God brings deliverance from life’s trials

God’s kingdom depends upon His mighty hand
Feeling His promises, His will covers the land
Answering the great question for all to behold
Accepting Christ as Lord and Savior, so bold
Reveling in God’s glorious adventure, with trusting love
Allowing Him to assist, in sending answers from above
