There is no more important fingerprint of faithfulness than to accept Jesus Christ as one’s Lord and Savior.

Anna Bartlett Warner Quote

We would see Jesus, the great rock Foundation whereon our feet were set with sovereign grace.

From Ezekiel 1:28:  “Like the bow in a cloud on a rainy day, such was the appearance of the splendor all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

Anna Bartlett Warner (1827-1915) was an American writer and poet.  Many of her poems were set to music.  One of her most famous hymns was “Jesus Loves Me.”

Fall’s Freshest Brew

Glorious morning’s start

Grasping Creator’s hand

Warmed by faithful, rising sun

Waking His precious land

Nature’s intimate breath

Towering forest sings

Harmony’s rhythm soaring

Flying on eagle’s wings

Portrait’s autumn colors

Bordering every street

Imagination sails free

Painting each scene, repeat

Gentle spirit gathers

Energizing each thought

Another page waits to breathe

Tying landscape’s love knot

Trusted clock standing still

Adjusting every view

Tomorrow postponed for now

Tasting fall’s freshest brew

Jane Seymour Quotes

Photo by Andrea Piacquadio on Pexels.com

People treat life as though it’s the dress rehearsal for some big show.  It’s not.  This is it.

My father always told me, you can only be your own best.  In other words, if you feel you’ve done your best, you’ve done well enough.

Jane Seymour (born 1951) is a British actress.

Everlasting Joy

From Genesis 1:1-3:  “When God began to create the heavens and the earth,  the earth was complete chaos, and darkness covered the face of the deep, while a wind from God swept over the face of the waters.  Then God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”

Early morning giants

Creator in its midst

Forest landscape stirring

His breath offers assist

Glorious sky blossoms

Creator brightens light

Sunrise worships with praise

Night’s glory taking flight

Vision of what He wants

Creator wakens rain

Parched wilderness transformed

Gratitude fills each vein

Salvation always near

Creator sharing grace

Gentle waters flowing

Life reborn in this place

Heavenly eyes look down

Creator turns new page

Everlasting joy sings

Nature’s gifts come of age

From Genesis 2:1-3:  “Thus the heavens and the earth were finished and all their multitude.  On the sixth day God finished the work that He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all the work that He had done.  So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that He had done in creation.

True goodness can only begin with God.  He shares the eternal strength of His love, which breathes into every facet of His creation.

John Locke Quote

The visible mark of extraordinary wisdom and power appear so plainly in all the works of creation.

From Psalm 19:1-2:  “The heavens are telling the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims His handiwork.  Day to day pours forth speech, and night to night declares knowledge.”

John Locke (1632-1704) was an English philosopher and writer.
