Darkness growing
From onrushing tides
Inevitable
Worry fills life’s next ride

Stormy seas rise
Despite comfort’s light
Undeniable
Tomorrow’s distant night

Hope fades away
Minutes standing still
Unmistakable
Morning’s expected chill

Confidence wanes
Unprepared for day
Unavoidable
Trouble comes into play

Outlook sharpens
Tranquility speaks
Unquestionable
Discovery’s mystique
