If the pace and the push, the noise and the crowds are getting to you, it’s time to stop the nonsense and find a place of solace to refresh your spirit. The good news is God will hear and He will help.
From Psalm 42:1: “As a deer longs for flowing streams, so my soul longs for you, O God.”
I am finding myself needing to do that more and more

Kev, I agree with you. There are times when I need to turn off the noise and seek a quiet place with the Lord.

God provides the refreshing if we will take the time with Him.

Amen! I enjoy how Chuck Swindoll shares the meaning of the Gospel. It reaches sout and makes so much sense.

I must be in the right place, counted more than 20 deer on the way home last night.

Your thoughts take me back several years ago to a lonely Montana highway on an autumn night. I counted roughly 100 deer along the road during a two-hour plus journey. Fortunately, they all were content to graze and stay out of my way.
