William Stanley Merwin (W. S.) was an American poet with over 50 books of poetry and prose. Over his lifetime (1927-2019), he was honored with numerous awards: including the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry (1971 and 2009) and becoming United States Poet Laureate in 2010.

Karla, thank you for reading and sharing. I hope to post more of Merwin’s thoughts in the future. I’m doing well, but much of my time of late has been consumed with transforming our spare room from a forgotten warehouse space. God’s presence fills each of our journeys. His grace and peace takes each of us to another tomorrow.
