Sometimes life challenges us to first see with honesty what is really standing in front of us.
Do you write a daily journal? This inspiring thought comes from my journal, and much of what is written in my journal comes from reading and commenting on other bloggers’ posts. Thanks to many of you for adding so much to my journal.

Wonderful Deb! Keep it up. My journal is basically a potpourri of thoughts from devotionals, Scripture, and blogs.

Ah yes, looking without seeing is a bad habit, isn’t it?

I totally agree with you Jan! Maybe that’s why automakers have installed back-up cameras.

It goes along with the scripture to check out the plank in your eye before you try to remove the dust mote from someone else’s. I also think of the saying that we shouldn’t judge others until we have walked in their shoes. It is easy to see the faults in others, but God only holds us responsible for ourselves.

Vickie, thank you for adding these worthy thoughts to this journal entry. Ultimately, our accountability rests with God.
