Away from the front page, consider the Sunday newspaper to be a delightful connection to the rest of the world. It is refreshing to read about life as so many others see it. Enjoy!

Creating garden’s diverse retreat
Forsaking traditional green lawn
Flora and fauna’s pulsating beat
Feeling awesome, eighty-nine years old
Singing one hit after another
Willie Nelson’s music grabs ahold
Discovering lighthouse, flower farms
Visiting enchantment’s sweet magic
Lake Michigan showcasing her charms
Keeping scientists up every night
Suggesting many snooze like humans
Will spiders finally sleep tonight?
Passing up snail mail without delay
Recalling technology’s lightning
Telegraph launches high-speed gateway
Sharing another public witness
Imitating Jesus Christ’s footsteps
Sidewalk evangelism’s eyewitness

The sad part is the paper newspapers are being replaced with online news. 😢 I’m still a fan of feeling that newspaper or book in my hand.
Beautiful poem here, Richard!

Renee, I appreciate your comments. I still subscribe to the Sunday newspaper here in Columbus. I am like you in that I enjoy holding the actual paper or book in my hand when reading.

Kathy, I really appreciate these kind words. It is important to find some calmness in the middle of so much going on.

What I used to love about getting a morning newspaper was doing the crossword puzzle and then reading the sports

Matt, thanks for sharing. I sort of figured you to be a sports page fan.
