Susan, I am pleased you found a laugh from this Haiku series. I need a laugh quite often myself.

At the present time, my tax situation looks much better than my golf game. Ouch!

So clever! The last one made me laugh out loud – too true. And I can relate to the one about flowers. My husband is actually so sweet, but sometimes signals definitely get crossed. I sure love him, though ❤ . Thank you for sharing!

Cherie, I am pleased you enjoyed a bit of humor at the expense of my sad golf game. I never quite find the hole with a suitable number of shots.

Thank you for your kind words. I enjoy taking a break from regular poetry and spending come creative time with a Haiku. We all need to laugh once in awhile.

Michelle, I am pleased the final poem gave you a chuckle. If you saw me golfing, you would laugh even louder.

Oh yes… I laughed, too! But, it’s a sad laughter … the last one is too true (for too many people) to be funny! Our middle class is shrinking as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer and the rich are NOT paying their fair share. 😦

I agree. This country’s distribution of wealth is becoming more skewed to the betterment of those who have the most.

It’s a sad situation. I am reading “Rediscovering Values” by Jim Wallis. He wrote the book during the recession of 2007-8 – – – and thought the situation was pretty bad then. It’s worse now!
