Sweet Fragrance
Nature sending love
Despite social distancing—
Smelling sweet flowers

Concert in the Pines
Deep in the forest
Harmony reigns over all—
Are we listening?

Catch Us—If You Can
One, two, three, four, five
Their heads bobbing up and down—
Turkeys in tall grass

Beautiful photos they add a wonderful restful aroma to the harmony in your wonderful poem. Thank you. Blessings😊🌸

Thanks for reading. Some mornings I find myself in the middle of many thoughts, and a few find their way into a Haiku.

Beautiful set of poems, Richard. And Nature is one of the few things that seems to have thrived during the pandemic, and that is something to be grateful for…

Thanks Susan. I actually saw these five turkeys on one of my recent morning walks at a nature park. Even though I had my camera, I didn’t have the proper angle to take a worthy photo before they hustled back down into the grass (with their heads bobbing up and down) as they escaped.

It’s amazing….the flowers don’t see or know of all the death around us, and they still bloom beautifully.
