The greatest way to witness is by walking that straight and narrow and also realizing that you’re going to mess up. That’s what grace is for.
In those places of doubt and even darkness I’ve realized that who I am has nothing to do with wins or loses, applause, or negative criticism. It has to do with whose I am.
We have to keep letting go, and slowly and surely the great full life of God will invade us in every part, and men will take knowledge of us that we have been with Jesus.
From Romans 6:9-11: “We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over Him. The death He died, He died to sin, once for all; but the life He lives, He lives to God. So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.”

Some of the best poems are written from from the heart. Such is the case with this poem; created from just a thought about family and its blessings. My wife and I have been blessed with five daughters between our Montana and Ohio families. Our grandchildren now number ten. Our own “Circle of Life’ has indeed been a blessed one.
Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.
A great man is hard on himself; a small man is hard on others.

This poem was written and published back in February, 2019. In looking at its original form, I found an opportunity to improve a few flaws in its presentation.
God is busy making you someone no one else has ever been.
