Promise
To be a peacemaker is to reflect the image of our heavenly Father–using our breath, energy, and creativity to sow peace wherever the Spirit takes us.
From Matthew 5:9: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”
If we only give up something to God because we want more back, there is nothing of the Holy Spirit in our abandonment.
From Mark 10:28: “Peter began to say to Him [Jesus], ‘Look, we have left everything and followed you.'”
From Philippians 1:20: “It is my eager expectation and hope that I will not be put to shame in any way, but that by my speaking with all boldness, Christ will be exalted now as always in my body, whether by life or by death.”
Facing world’s wickedness
Knowing God walks with thee

His good purpose foresees
Feeling Spirit’s mercy

We must, without apology, without fear, without ceasing, preach and practice our beliefs, carrying them out to the point of suffering.
From Galatians 5:25: “If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.”
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, believers have the ability to endure difficultly and accomplish whatever the Lord calls them to do.
From 2 Corinthians 3:4-6: “Such is the confidence that we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are competent of ourselves to claim anything as coming from us; our competence is from God, who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of letter but of spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.”
