Life will sometimes serve us trials
God asking for some elbow room

Delivering light over our gloom
Never be surprised when God comes
At His choosing, His will descends

Looking back over my life, all I can see is mercy and grace written in large letters everywhere. May God help me have the same kind of heart toward those who wound or offend me.
From Ephesians 4:31-32: “Put away from you all bitterness and wrath and anger and wrangling and slander, together with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.”
Jim Cymbala (born 1942) is an American pastor and Christian author. He firmly believes that God will share His goodness in our lives.
Christians are to be like rivers, not stagnant lakes. The blessings God gives us are to be shared instead of hoarded.
From 2 Corinthians 9:6-8: “The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not regretfully or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.”
You know the human response to panic? First, we are afraid. Second, we run. Third, we fight. Fourth, we tell everybody. God’s counsel is just the opposite. Don’t be afraid. Stand still. Watch Him work. Keep quiet. It’s then that He does it. He takes over!
From Exodus 14:13: “But Moses said to the people, ‘Do not be afraid, stand firm, and see the deliverance that the Lord will accomplish for you today, for the Egyptians whom you see today you shall never see again.'”
Faith ought not to be a plaything. If we believe, we should believe like giants.

Those who realize their days belong to God are careful how they live.
From Ephesians 5:15-17: “Be careful, then, how you live, not as unwise people but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil. So do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”
We know that God is everywhere; but certainly we feel His presence most when His works are in the grandest scale spread before us.

God allows us to go through trials so our faith will grow; then we can help others while glorifying Him.
From 1 Peter 1:6-7: “In this you rejoice, even if now for a little while you have had to suffer various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith—being more precious than gold that, though perishable, is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”
