All roads lead to something you were predestined to do.
Everyone is a hundred different things, but in other people’s eyes we usually get the chance to be only one of them.

From Colossians 2:13-14: “And when you were dead in trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive together with Him, when He forgave us all our trespasses, erasing the record that stood against us with its legal demands. He set this aside, nailing it to the cross.”

Witness faith’s new covenant
Genuine with every breath
Sufficient grace rises free
New life born in Savior’s death
Man’s sins meet at Calvary
Debts paid upon bloody tree
Ledger totally erased
Forgiven, now darkness flees
Father’s predetermined plan
Resurrection breathes with light
Eternal hell defeated
Righteousness stands with White Knight
Never any random act
Salvation’s destiny sown
With Spirit’s redemptive pulse
Seated at Messiah’s throne
Reconciled through Father’s love
Promised truth builds Heaven’s road
Made ambassadors for Christ
Eternity’s quest bestowed

From 2 Corinthians 5:20-21: “So we are ambassadors for Christ, since God is making His appeal through us; we entreat you on behalf of Christ: be reconciled to God. For our sake God made the one who knew no sin to be sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”
From Psalm 84:1-2: “How lovely is Your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! My soul longs, indeed it faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God.”

Future expectations
Journey’s path filled with light
Another page to open
Tomorrow looking bright
Peace dwells in Father’s heart
Journey’s joy hears His Word
Hope’s breath gathers strength from Him
Faith prospers from what’s spurred
Family, friends, career
Journey’s love means much more
Kneeling at cross in prayer
Savior cancels sin’s score
Challenges shall arise
Journey’s road appears blocked
Trust in Jesus sends faith’s key
Salvation now unlocked
Darkness breathing no more
Journey’s destiny bright
Christ delivers victory
Future filled with His light

From Psalm 84:11: “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; He bestows favor and honor. No good thing does the Lord withhold from those who walk uprightly.”

Questions arriving
Between shadows of light
Escaping darkness
Answers soon begin flight
Reflective life pause
Mind’s daily traffic slows
Seeking fresh outlook
Instincts shall always know
Sunrise opens mind
Passion finds virgin route
Learning through new ways
Destiny set to sprout
Moment of failure
Part of life’s faithful quest
Dusting off oneself
Set to taste tomorrow’s best
Life’s transforming guide
Opportunity talks
Jumping right onboard
Confidence leaves dry dock

A person often meets his destiny on the road he took to avoid it.
Sadness flies away on the wings of time.
Jean de La Fontaine (1621-1695) was a French fabulist as well as a widely read poet.

If we are to discover the Lord’s best for our life, we must trust His way is better than our plans and desires.
From Jeremiah 29:11-12: “For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope. Then when you call upon Me and come and pray to Me, I will hear you.”

May I be the tiniest nail in the house of the universe, tiny but useful.
To pay attention, this is our endless and proper work.

Destiny unites true friends
Transforming life with its spark
Sincere friendship fills two hearts
Never alone in the dark
Never take friends for granted
Honesty, laughter, and tears
Staying connected insures
Treasures shared over the years
Sharing life’s pain, healing wounds
Long-lasting friendship endures
Glue holding life together
Truly caring, reassures
Always count on each other
Offering silent support
“Forever minutes” share love
Caring never falling short
Life travels through forest trails
Friends together, all these years
Brings us home through darkest times
Greatest love when friendship cheers

From Proverbs 18:24: “Some friends play at friendship but a true friend sticks closer than one’s nearest kin.”

From Mark 13:11: When they bring you to trial and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you at that time, for it is not you who speak but the Holy Spirit.”

From every corner
Darkness forecasting light
Voices filled with emptiness
Now standing firm, God’s faith airtight
One promised ticket
Risen from empty tomb
False prophets flee every scene
Now Savior breathes, faithful hope blooms
Suffering no more
Calvary’s blood-stained cross
Foundation of Father’s grace
Now sin flees, no longer faith’s boss
Mercy from heaven
Angels stir from above
Called to gather Shepherd’s flock
Now faith’s destiny, filled with love

From Mark 13:26-27: “Then they will see ‘the Son of Man coming in clouds’ with great power and glory. Then He will send out the angels and gather the elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.”
