Remember, God lives in a realm that transcends all. He is all-powerful. And when God is ready to move, He moves.
From Job 19:25: “For I know that my Redeemer lives, and that at last He will stand upon the earth.”

When you do something noble and beautiful and nobody noticed, do not be sad. For the sun every morning is a beautiful spectacle and yet most of the audience still sleeps.

When I am criticized, injured, or afraid, there is a Father who is ready to comfort me.”
From 1 Chronicles 12:18: Then the spirit came upon Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said, ‘We are yours, O David; and with you, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to the one who helps you! For your God is the one who helps you.'”

Life appears to me too short to be spent in nursing animosity, or registering wrongs.
From Ephesians 4:31-32: “Put away from you all bitterness and wrath and anger and wrangling and slander, together with all malice, and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.”

Successful people are always looking for opportunities to help others. Unsuccessful people are always asking, “What’s in it for me?”
All successful men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.

From Psalm 37:23-24: “Our steps are made firm by the Lord, when He delights in our way; though we stumble, we shall not fall headlong, for the Lord holds us by the hand.”
Henri Nouwen (1932-1996) was a Dutch priest, professor, writer, and theologian.

Cherish your visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate achievements.
From Habakkuk 2:2: “Then the Lord answered me and said: ‘Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so that a runner may read it.'”

Our ways may seem good to us. We may even enjoy some moderate successes. But when we do the work of God in our our own ways, we will never see the power of God in what we do. God reveals His ways because that is the only way to accomplish His purposes.
From Ephesians 1:18-19: “So that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, what are the riches of His glorious inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power for us who believe, according to the working of His great power.”
