Gratitude is the least remembered of all virtues but is the acid test of character.

We choose our attitudes.  When we let little things annoy us, we even choose to be grumpy.

Elmer L. Towns (born 1932) is an American pastor and Christian writer.  Along with Jerry Falwell, he co-founded Liberty University in 1971.

Jackie Pullinger Quote

God wants us to have soft hearts and hard feet.  The trouble with so many of us is that we have hard hearts and soft feet.

From Psalm 51:10-12:  “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.  Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your holy spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and sustain in me a willing spirit.”

Jackie Pullinger (born 1944) is a British missionary in Hong Kong.  Her efforts founded the St. Stephen’s Society in 1981, which provides a rehabilitation home for recovering drug addicts, prostitutes, and gang members.

Orison Swett Marden Quotes

Photo by Karyme Franu00e7a on Pexels.com

All men who have achieved great things have been great dreamers.

No one can make a real masterpiece of life until he sees something infinitely greater in his vocation than bread and butter and shelter.

Orison Swett Marden (1848-1924) was an American inspirational writer.  He founded Success magazine in 1897.  Many of his ideas were based upon the New Thought philosophy.

Climbing faith’s gentle mountain

Every step blessed by God

Praising Him at all times

Life’s outlook no longer flawed

Seeking Spirit’s faithful light

Answers received from God

Bringing righteousness home

Love shatters evil’s facade

Escaping tomorrow’s fears

Never alone with God

Trusting His sacred Word

Hope’s frozen landscape now thawed

Feelings of loneliness cease

Heart warmed with love of God

Saving self from darkness

Goodness walks upon fresh sod

Turning to heaven above

Eyes now focused on God

Hearing faithful Spirit

Redemption forever shod

Finding joy on His mountain

Peace fulfills hope in God

Walking amongst faith’s saints

Shepherd guides with staff and rod

Tim Tebow Quote

Photo by Tara Winstead on Pexels.com

The more you make the choice to live above your feelings, to trust God instead of what you may feel like doing, the stronger your faith becomes.

From Isaiah 41:10:  “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God; I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with My victorious right hand.”

Tim Tebow (born 1987) is an American Christian.  While his athletic accomplishments in football are well-documented, he continues to share his witness of faith through speaking and writing.
