Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.
The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.
Leo (Count Lev Nikolayevich) Tolstoy (1828-1910) was a Russian writer. Many consider him to be one the world’s greatest authors of all-time.
Those two quotes pretty much sum up almost everything needed to fix a VERY broken world.

Indeed! Sometimes it seems that writers such as Tolstoy had a crystal ball to look into the future.

He was hardly the only one. Read Philip K Dick or just watch the Amazon series featuring his works; Electric Dreams. See how much of it rings true… Like we’re just now seeing the beginning of these things happening. Lots of other examples, but he’s easily accessible right now.
Tolstoy… MAYBE he just had a deeper understanding of human nature then and now than most people. 😉

Good quotations. I have always heard that “Change begins with yourself and then spreads to others and then to the world.” I didn’t hear it from home but from various pastors.

Vickie, thanks for sharing. I need to explore more of Tolstoy’s wisdom. Years ago, I managed to conquer one of his major works, WAR AND PEACE.

I never tackled that one
