Martin Luther King, Jr. Quote

A man dies when he refuses to stand up for that which is right.  A man dies when he refuses to stand up for justice.  A man dies when he refuses to take a stand for that which is true.

From Amos 5:23-24:  “Take away from me the noise of your songs; I will not listen to the melody of your harps.  But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.”

  1. Great post. I think, given that you know my current situation, that you know I’m pretty pro-justice at this point. However, I’ve also seen a tremendous amount of harm caused by a rush to justice and not considering all facts. Justice also has to be tempered with wisdom and discernment. 😉
