From Psalm 8:4-6: “What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? Yet you have made them a little lower than God, and crowned them with glory and honor. You have given them dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under their feet.”

People judging people each day
Empty, hurtful words hunting prey
Frozen in polarizing world
Harshest, cruelest comments unfurled
Selfish thoughts swarm to harm and crush
Discolor with darkest paintbrush
Critique our words and appearance
One voice moves their disappearance
Self-esteem sinks in stormy seas
Rising up with God’s gentle breeze
God’s perspective always matters
His truly counts, others scatter
Listen to Father in Heaven
Divine thoughts arrive to leaven
Life’s identity rests with God
Truest actions, never be flawed
Hear marvelous news from above
God values us, unselfish love
Always, always remember this
God’s perception, never amiss

From Psalm 8:1-2: “O Lord, our Sovereign, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. Out of the mouths of babes and infants you have founded a bulwark because of your foes, to silence the enemy and the avenger.”
I’ve noticed these attitude changes as well. Everyone looks down trodden. Even when leaving church services they aren’t lifted up. Our fear is getting the best of us and fear leads to anger, frustration and fear. Those lead to acts of violence and hatred and the problem doesn’t get better. It seems to spiral out of control. Our only hope lies in the Lord. If we call on His name He will answer. His love is all enduring.

Kathy, I agree with your outlook. While my wife and I still faithfully worship at home, we still feel the same emotions through the eyes of family members. God is the answer. Amen!

So much is changing and I feel belief’s are changing due to these theories that people come up with. As Christians, we are not the judge the unbelievers that is for God. But for brothers and sisters in Christ, we are to be there for one another and keep ourselves grounded in God.

Thank you Sandy for reading and sharing. As Christians, we sometimes walk a fine line in this troubling world of ours. Praise God that we can be grounded in His way.

As a Pastor from time to time I pray I see God’s perspective with someone’s problems; I also often in counseling ask if my interpretation of what’s going on has anything I might have missed that changes my view of their problem or situation.

Jim, I appreciate your comments. Some of these actions can be applied in other ways to own lives. Sometimes by looking at a situation through God’s eyes, brings us a much clearer perspective.

If only everyone could see things from God’s perspective. The world needs more love and compassion. I love the poem and the photos.
