From Psalm 42:2-3: “My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and behold the face of God? My tears have been my food day and night, while people say to me continually, ‘Where is your God?'”

Darkness comes upon
Evil drawing near
Thirsty and hungry
There’s nothing to fear
Discouraged feelings
From dark, fallen world
Approaching Father
His Spirit unfurled
Rest assured with God
Observing our tears
Hearing nightly cries
Boldly He shall steer
Facing life’s hardships
Never giving up
Faith shall overcome
Overflowing cup
Believing in God
Trusting divine walk
Casting away storms
Grace shall always talk

From Psalm 42:11: “Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my help and my God.”
Such comforting words of promise and truth! In all the mess of the world we know to whom we can turn~and who’s in control!

Amen! When we share our faith with others, we bond as brothers and sisters in Christ. God’s peace Karla.
