Mount Rushmore National Monument is located in South Dakota’s Black Hills.  The sculptured figures of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln stand watch.

Abraham Lincoln (1861-1865)

Theodore Roosevelt (1901-1909)

  1. My mom quoted that Abe Lincoln one many times to me when I was a kid growing up. But I had not heard that Roosevelt quote before. It is a treasure… so true! Indeed, most of my troubles are the result of my own foolishness!!
