Masterpiece

The German-inspired poetry style of Elfchen (or Elevenie) contains five lines of poetic verse, usually without the use of rhyming verses. A total of 11 words are used with a sequence of one, two, three, and four words before ending with a single word in the final verse.
retirement sounds wonderful, and good luck with the masterpiece!

Retirement has its advantages, but I wish my ability to travel and just do things was its usual self. Oh well, one must be patient. On the other hand, I am sure if I would be comfortable back in a classroom right now. As for the masterpiece, I am not sure about a novel, but I do have a couple of longer short stories to finish up. Take care Jim. When will classes resume for fall semester?

I’m sure it’s frustrating to have the freedom that retirement offers, but not able to take full advantage of it at this time. Hopefully things will return to normal soon. Our semester starts exactly one month from today, and I am a little nervous about going back. Good luck finishing up those short stories…

My prayers are including families, students, and staff as schools and colleges start up another year. I have two daughters who teach in Montana.

Thanks Jan. For some reason, we both have an inkling to follow such a dialogue.

Kate, I appreciate your thoughts. As for a novel, I am not quite sure about this. I do need to finish up a couple of longer short stories. One may end up like a mini novel.

then maybe make it one of these short books or novelettes people buy from amazon?

I have been giving some thought to self-publishing an anthology of poems and short stories. Time will tell.
