Make your church grow: some assembly required.
From 1 Corinthians 3:9: “For we are God’s coworkers, working together; you are God’s field, God’s building.”

Make your church grow: some assembly required.
From 1 Corinthians 3:9: “For we are God’s coworkers, working together; you are God’s field, God’s building.”
From John 3:5: “Jesus answered, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit.”

Living a dark life of sin
Failing to follow God’s Word
Walking as slaves in the flesh
“Abandon your ways” . . . unheard
Falling, ignoring our Lord
Leaving Him for empty thoughts
Taking our path, darkness prowls
Sinful hunger calls the shots
Consumed by life in the flesh
There awaits a better way
God never abandons us
Offering His Grace each day
God gives Himself entirely
Spirit marches to our hearts
Delivers His greatest gift
God’s Son offers a fresh start
Christ becomes our foundation
Jesus walking where we walk
Exchanging His life for us
Shepherd gathering His flock

From John 3:16-17: “For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish but may have eternal life. Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.”

From Psalm 68:4: “Sing to God; sing praises to His name; lift up a song to Him who rides upon the clouds—His name is the Lord—be exultant before Him.”

Singing with praises to Father above
Filling high heavens with jubilation
Forgiving every stumble through His love
Writing righteousness on heart of each nation
Leading His people toward mercy’s light
Forsaking darkness, hidden far below
Washing away sin, with snow very white
Living where river of peace always flows
Leaving wilderness for greener ridgetop
Quenching faith’s thirst with living water
Sowing His grace among each fertile crop
Blessing family, each son and daughter
Hearing Father’s truth, spoken through His Word
Raising up eternal hope, undeterred

From Romans 12:1-2: “I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, on the basis of God’s mercy, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable act of worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of the mind, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Oswald Chambers (1874-1917) was a Scottish evangelist and Christian teacher. Following his death from an illness while in Egypt during World War I, his wife took on the task of transcribing the detailed notes she had written from his lectures and sermons. Gertrude Hobbs Chambers’ efforts resulted in the publication in 1924 of MY UTMOST FOR HIS HIGHEST. I frequently read from this devotional, and it has greatly deepened my faith and understanding of God’s Word.

From Psalm 84:1-2: “How lovely is Your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts! My soul longs, indeed it faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God.”
